Open Positions for
Recruiting and Referencing Consultants

Organized in 1992, Pauly Group, Inc. provides support for college leaders and their search committees pursuing administrative excellence through diversity and gender equity. Comprised of former higher education professionals from community and technical colleges, universities, and other professions, Pauly Group is an established academic search consulting firm with a practice limited to community and technical colleges. It is the objective of Pauly Group to provide complete support while remaining neutral and transparent to the search process.

With the increasing demands of client colleges, along with the retirement of members of the original consultant group, Pauly Group announces this call for consultants. Pauly Group standards are unique in the industry. All work related to a college search is performed by credentialed, trained consultants who bring a passion for the mission, a commitment to diversity, and make the project a personal priority. Led by the group’s president, this corps of consultants is what places Pauly Group clearly in the lead of all community and technical college search consulting firms.

All consultants are independent contractors (1099) and are therefore free to accept or reject a project, when offered. Due to the flexibility of schedule, individual income varies based on the number of projects, but is based on $50/hour. Most Pauly Group consultants work from a home based office. However, some consultants prefer to work out of a separate office. As independent contractors, office arrangements are at the discretion of the consultant.
